Fall Family Fun
At
Centennial Farms

September 30 to October 31
Fall Fantasyland
No admission charge
Open Thursday-Friday-Saturday 10-5, Sunday 12-5
Walk into our farmstead and be surrounded by pumpkin characters and Halloween fun. We decorate with full size figures with pumpkin or gourd heads representing farm folks, storybook characters and some of your favorite TV characters. There is also a group of aliens with their crashed space ship. A graveyard has some very humorous inscriptions; most of them borrowed from real cemeteries.
Mixed in with the figures are hundreds of pumpkins from minis to some big ones. We also have an assortment of heirloom pumpkins and squash and decorative gourds. Indian corn, broomcorn and corn stalks for fall decorating are available.
Because of the freeze in April, we will not have apples for sale this year. We make our own apple butter in four flavors and about 20 kinds of preserves. We have fresh cider, made without preservatives. We have honey from our hives, honey candy and other goodies. You can even watch bees making honey in an observation hive.
